The sponsorship program is set up to assist school aged children in their basic needs to complete school. The children’s needs range depending on their circumstances, but all the children have their school fees and school materials covered and other things required (soap etc), as well as free medical service from the clinic. Many of the children attend our feeding program at various times, including lunch daily at school sent from Grace. Many of the sponsored children also attend our After School Program Monday to Saturday

Within our sponsorship we sponsor several young adults to attend college and nursing. Many of these young adults had been orphaned and have no support network other than Grace. Education is one of the main keys in the alleviation of poverty in people’s lives, and the recipients of these tertiary level sponsorships are people who are proving this point. They are getting the opportunity to gain an otherwise unattainable education and therefore the opportunity for financial independence and a bright future.
